About the role

About the Company: A manufacturing and distribution employer is seeking a bilingual HSE Officer to support day-to-day health, safety, and environmental activities at its Lebanon facility.
About the Role: Working with the HSE Manager, this person will spend time on the shop floor across first and second shifts, engaging employees, verifying safety controls, delivering training, and helping strengthen the site’s safety culture.
Responsibilities: Maintain a visible presence on the shop floor, coach employees and supervisors, and address at-risk conditions and behaviors. Lead HSE orientations and operational safety training, including powered industrial truck qualification; track required training completion. Conduct audits, inspections, risk assessments, and field checks to verify that critical controls work as intended. Support incident and high-potential near-miss investigations, corrective actions, OSHA recordkeeping, and injury claim administration. Assist with safety and environmental compliance, including inspections, data collection, permitting support, and regulatory reports. Partner with supervisors, line leaders, and maintenance teams to improve safety practices and reduce injuries.
Qualifications: Three to seven years of HSE experience in manufacturing, including audits, training, incident support, and compliance activities. Working knowledge of applicable HSE regulations and ISO 14001 / ISO 45001; ability to conduct inspections and risk assessments. A bachelor’s degree in a business, technical, environmental, or engineering field is preferred.
Required Skills: Fluency in English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong organization and Microsoft Office skills. Ability to work with employees across first and second shifts.
