The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and managing relationships with financial advisors, plan sponsors, and other retirement plan distribution partners within an assigned territory. This pivotal role is focused on driving production and revenue, with a primary responsibility for developing new business opportunities and maintaining a robust pipeline of retirement plan prospects.The SVP will be expected to leverage existing industry relationships, identify opportunities, and work closely with the internal sales team to move through the sales process and close new business.Applicants for the Senior Vice President of Retirement Sales position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' of external sales or wholesaling experience in retirement plan services, recordkeeping, asset management, insurance, TPA services, or financial services distribution. A strong network of financial advisors, retirement plan consultants, TPAs, and other distribution partners is essential, as is a proven track record of generating new business and meeting production goals.The role requires the ability to manage a consultative sales cycle, build trusted relationships, and work both independently and in partnership with internal teams.
