About the role

Hospital Lead Pharmacy Technician - Full Time Specialty Medical Staffing is currently hiring a Lead Pharmacy Technician at a behavioral health hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This is a full-time weekday position supporting daily pharmacy operations in an inpatient setting.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Start Date: July 27, 2026 Weekend Coverage: None
Responsibilities include:
  • Filling medication orders
  • Delivering medications to patient medication rooms
  • Managing and stocking pharmacy inventory
  • Receiving daily warehouse orders and reconciling invoices
  • Processing medication recalls
  • Assisting with medication room audits
  • Supporting the pharmacist with daily pharmacy operations
Qualifications:
  • Active Arkansas Pharmacy Technician license required
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred
  • Inpatient hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred
  • Facility Details:
  • Behavioral health hospital serving adolescent and adult patientsHCS pharmacy system (training provided)
  • Omnicell automation (experience preferred but training available)
  • Orientation & Training:
  • Two-day hospital orientation required
  • Pharmacy training provided by the Director of Pharmacy and pharmacy staff
  • Mandatory orientation: August 10–11
Travel: Local candidates preferred. Mileage and hotel reimbursement may be available for qualified travelers. Dress Code: Business casual or scrubs in any color except blue
