Job Description: Independently evaluate, select, and apply standard surveying techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modificationsPlan, schedules conduct, or coordinate detailed phases of the surveying work in a part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scopePerform work that involves conventional surveying practice but may include a variety of complex featuresDirect conversations with clients at beginning, during, and end of projectsCapable of supervising or coordinating the work of surveyors, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignmentsSeal professional surveying documentsOther duties as assigned Job RequirementsRPLS Licensure/DOT Precertification - SIT will also be consideredStrong Computer Skills, working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation and Microsoft Office Prior experience with civil engineering projects strongly preferredAbility to commute to Houston office BGE is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity.
