About the role
A growing equipment attachment manufacturer is seeking a Regional Sales Representative to develop and expand its dealer network throughout the Southeastern United States.
Location:
Field-based/remote. Candidates may reside in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, or Alabama and should live within approximately one hour of a major commercial airport due to frequent travel. This role is focused on building long-term partnerships with equipment dealers, developing new accounts, and growing business with existing dealers. The ideal candidate will bring experience from an equipment OEM, compact equipment or agricultural implement manufacturer, or construction equipment dealership and be comfortable working within a structured, accountable sales process.
Responsibilities:
Develop and grow a network of equipment dealers throughout the Southeast. Prospect, qualify, and establish relationships with new dealer partners. Manage and expand existing dealer accounts to increase sales and market penetration. Guide new dealers through the onboarding and development process. Develop territory and account plans to identify growth opportunities. Build strong relationships with dealer sales teams, management, and other key decision-makers. Provide product knowledge and sales support for excavator attachments, including couplers, buckets, tilt hitches, and application-specific solutions. Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurately track activity, opportunities, and forecasts. Follow established sales processes, performance metrics, and territory development strategies. Travel extensively throughout the region to visit dealers, develop new business, and support customers.
Qualifications:
Proven sales experience within the heavy equipment, compact construction equipment, agricultural equipment/implements, attachments, or equipment dealership industry. OEM/manufacturer sales experience strongly preferred. Experience developing and managing dealer/distributor relationships. Demonstrated ability to prospect, open new accounts, and grow an assigned territory. Strong relationship-building, communication, and organizational skills. Self-motivated, coachable, and comfortable working within a structured sales process. Ability to independently manage a large multi-state territory. Willingness to travel frequently throughout the Southeast. Must reside in NC, SC, GA, FL, or AL, preferably near a major airport.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
