Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner- PMHNP Longmeadow and Medford, MAClearview Health & Wellness is a community-based outpatient mental-health organization dedicated to providing equitable, high‑quality, accessible care for individuals and families across Massachusetts. Our interdisciplinary team of clinicians, supervisors, and medical professionals work collaboratively to support clients’ emotional, social, and developmental wellbeing—within regulatory frameworks set by MA DPH for licensed clinics providing outpatient mental-health services. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled PMHNP with a strong background in behavioral and emotional health to join our multidisciplinary outpatient mental-health team. The PMHNP will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaborate clinically for patients across the lifespan, including pediatric clients, who are served in our outpatient clinics in Massachusetts. This role emphasizes trauma-informed, culturally responsive care and compliance with Massachusetts clinic licensure and behavioral-health standards.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychiatric and medication evaluations for clients across the lifespan, including documentation consistent with regulatory and agency expectations. Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with therapists, families, school partners, and other providers. Provide ongoing medication management; treatment effectiveness, side-effects, and adjust plans accordingly. Coordinate care with primary care providers, stakeholders, external specialists, and internal team members to ensure integrated service delivery. Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation (electronic health record/EMR) in compliance with MA DPH clinic regulations (e.g., record‑keeping, accessibility, confidentiality).Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case consultations, and quality improvement initiatives—including demonstration of continuous compliance with licensure/clinic standards. Support crisis screening, risk assessment, and stabilization procedures—as part of outpatient mental health service provision. Uphold HIPAA, ethical, regulatory, and agency‑compliance standards at all times.
Qualifications: Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Board certification as a Psychiatric‑Mental Health NP (PMHNP) (preferred).DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration (MCSR) required or eligible. Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with clients in behavioral‑health settings as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner — outpatient experience preferred. Strong knowledge of development across the lifespan, psychopharmacology, trauma‑informed care, and culturally responsive practices. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with neurodivergent youth, ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma‑related disorders.
  • Familiarity with integrated behavioral‑health models, outpatient team collaboration, EMR/EHR systems.
  • Comfortable working in outpatient and school‑based systems, collaborating with therapists, case managers, families, and schools.
