About the role
We're partnering with a growing manufacturing organization seeking a Quality Engineer to support plant quality systems, food safety initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues and customer complaints Monitor quality metrics and SPC data to identify improvement opportunities Support food safety, regulatory, and customer audits Partner with Operations and Production teams to improve processes and reduce defects Maintain compliance with GMP, HACCP, SQF, and FDA requirements Drive continuous improvement projects focused on quality, yield, and waste reduction
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, or related field 3-5 years of quality engineering or quality assurance experience in manufacturing Experience with root cause analysis, CAPA, and quality systems Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Food manufacturing experience preferredASQ CQE or Six Sigma certification is a plus
