Job Description
Responsibilities: - Manage the day-to-day operations of the yard and shop, ensuring efficient and safe processes.- Oversee inventory management, including receiving, organizing, and tracking materials.- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.- Supervise a team of Mechanics and Yard Associates, providing guidance and support as needed.- Train new employees on yard procedures and safety protocols.- Monitor and maintain equipment and machinery in the yard.- Implement and enforce safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.- Continue to Grow Goodwin Marine Services by recruiting new talent to join our team and customers to serve
Requirements: - Strong budgeting skills to effectively manage resources.- Proven sales experience with the ability to meet or exceed targets.- Excellent leadership skills to motivate and inspire a team.- Exceptional customer service skills to provide a positive experience for customers.- Ability to conduct interviews and make hiring decisions based on company standards.- Experience in training development to create effective training programs for employees.- A solid understanding of Marine Mechanics and industry seasonality
