UAS Flight Test Operator Winchester, VA/WA Pay From: $55 per hour MUST: Experienced UAS Flight Test Operator Minimum of 4+ years military UAS operations experience Minimum of 4+ years UAS development experience Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. Able to travel as needed. Experience integrating payloads and radios such as Trillium, Persistent Systems, and Silvus Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills Ability to perform in a cross-functional team environment Good at keeping complex systems working well and performing preventative maintenance Good at maintaining a safe work environment and working to improve the safety of personnel and equipment Friendly, collaborative, and tactful in conflict resolution Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred DUTIES: Reporting to the Chief Pilot, the UAS Flight Test Operator shall: Perform flight tests of Group 2+ UAS. Create and maintain test plans, reports, and summaries in support of a test development schedule Collaborate with other internal stakeholders and leads to ensure health and readiness of the UAS Support the development of sustainment-ready military UAS by providing product feedback to the engineering team to inform design objectives and improvements Develop and implement electromechanical upgrades to the Air Vehicle
