Team members are empowered to experiment with new technologies and propose enhancements that benefit the wider open-source community.Role Description Contribute remotely to Pivotal Claw, an open-source project supported by Amry LLC that helps people coordinate work with AI coding agents. Contributions may include building features, improving user experience, developing Claude and Codex integrations, fixing bugs, and strengthening tests and documentation. Collaborate with maintainers through GitHub issues, pull requests, and technical discussions to shape improvements and review code. This is an unpaid contribution opportunity. No compensation is offered.QualificationsStrong skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience writing efficient, maintainable code in one or more modern languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Go, Rust, Java).Experience in Open-Source Development, including contributing to or maintaining public repositories, handling issues and pull requests, and collaborating with distributed teams.Solid understanding of Databases, including basic design, querying, and performance considerations with relational or NoSQL systems.Proficiency with Linux environments, including command-line tooling, shell scripting, and system troubleshooting.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), automated testing, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) workflows.Ability to write clear technical documentation, code comments, and contribution guidelines for community users and developers.Effective remote collaboration skills, including asynchronous communication, time management, and comfort working with global contributors.Relevant education or equivalent practical experience in computer science, software engineering, or a related field; prior contributions to notable open-source projects are a plus.Interested?Explore Pivotal Claw on GitHub, then send a brief introduction with your interests and a link to something you’ve built or contributed to.
