About the role
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, specifications, and work orders
- Assemble and install electrical components, wiring, subassemblies, and support structures
- Label, wire, and connect switch boxes and control panel terminal boards
- Inspect wiring for coding accuracy, proper termination, continuity, and identify shorts or grounds
- Assist in testing completed machines and troubleshooting electrical issues
- Document work to meet quality and production requirements
- Collaborate with team members to resolve quality, cost, or production challenges
- Maintain safety, cleanliness, and proper care of tools & equipment
- Multi-task and shift priorities as needed throughout the day
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
- Ability to understand wiring diagrams and troubleshoot basic electrical issues
- Solid problem-solving skills and clear communication
- Experience with electrical wiring, installation, or assembly work
- Basic Qualification & Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years of electrical wiring or installation experience AND/OR2-year degree or certification in electrical systems with 2+ years of experience
