School ConstableThe School Constable is responsible for supporting a safe, secure, and orderly environment for students, staff, families, visitors, and district property. The position serves as a first responder to onsite emergencies and school security concerns and works closely with building administrators, School Resource Officers, and local and state law enforcement agencies. Responsibilities include monitoring and patrolling school facilities and grounds, supporting positive student behavior and assisting with behavior-related concerns, responding to safety and security incidents, supporting emergency drills and threat assessments, assisting with investigations and student supervision, maintaining secure building access, and providing safety-related training and support to staff. The School Constable also participates in ongoing safety training and maintains all required Delaware Constable certifications and qualifications.
