About the Role: Are you an expert Instructional Designer who thrives at the intersection of complex technology, adult learning, and hands‑on manufacturing? Comrise is hiring a Senior Instructional Designer to help build a world‑class manufacturing training ecosystem for a pioneer in autonomous vehicle technology. As the company scales production of next‑generation mobility, you will design immersive, competency‑based learning systems that span virtual modules, hands‑on factory qualification, and digital tools. If you excel at taking dense technical documentation (SOPs, engineering specs) and converting it into engaging, high‑impact training using Articulate 360 and Docebo, this role is for you! End-to-End Curriculum Design: Build structured learning pathways for manufacturing and logistics teams, blending virtual modules, Instructor‑Led Training (ILT), and On‑the‑Job Training (OJT). Interactive Content Creation: Author high‑quality e‑learning modules using Articulate 360 (Rise & Storyline), incorporating accessibility standards and modern adult learning practices. Technical Translation: Collaborate closely with Engineers, SMEs, and Technical Writers to turn complex SOPs and work instructions into clear, actionable training content. OJT & Certification Frameworks: Create practical qualification rubrics and hands‑on checklists to verify on‑floor operator competency. LMS Operations: Manage, organize, and track content delivery within Docebo LMS. Qualifications We Look For 5+ Years Experience: Proven track record in Instructional Design within a technical, manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or industrial environment. Authoring Mastery: Expert skills in Articulate 360 (Rise & Storyline).
LMS Experience: Hands‑on experience with enterprise LMS platforms (preference for Docebo ).
Tech‑Savvy: Proficient with Google Workspace and leveraging AI tools for instructional design efficiency. Safety Gear: Ability to wear composite‑toe safety shoes (ASTM F 2412/2413 compliant) on the factory floor. Experience in Autonomous Vehicles, Automotive Production, Robotics, or highly regulated industries (MedTech, Aviation, Pharma). Master's Degree or Professional Certification in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
Schedule: Full‑Time (40 hours/week, Monday – Friday).
Location: 100% Onsite at the advanced manufacturing facility in Hayward, CA.
