Deadline: Sep 10, 2028 at 11:59 PM Eastern TimeThe Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of hematology/oncology. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in medical oncology and/or hematology. Teaching responsibilities may include teaching hematology/oncologyfellows, house staff and medical students. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching. Clinical responsibilities may include care of patients with solidtumors, hematologic malignancies, or classical hematologicdisorders. Patients will be seen in an outpatient and inpatientsetting at Pennsylvania Hospital (PAH).Candidates will have strong administrative, clinical, teaching skills, and a commitment to the missions of the division, fostering outstanding patient care, clinical operations, safe and efficientinfusion operations, clinical research, program development, and coordination across practice locations. Pennsylvania Hospitaloffers many advanced therapies including CAR-T therapy, bloodlessmedicine, and autologous hematopoietic cell transplantation in aFACT certified program. The section chief will lead the growing Division of Hematology-Oncology at Pennsylvania Hospital, whilebuilding on a strong foundation of excellence in patient care, education and clinical research. Leadership responsibilities will include coordinating and integrating the core mission areas withinthe Division of Hematology-Oncology and in coordination with the Abramson Cancer Center. Rank will be commensurate withexperience.
