The Area Personnel Officer (APO) supports Field Leaders and Field Personnel Officers across the MENA Area by promoting excellence in personnel and hum
Requirements This is a part-time position (0.6–0.8 FTE)..
The successful candidate will ideally be based in an OM ministry location within the MENA Area; however, remote work may be considered depending on the candidate and ministry context.
Regular collaboration with Field Leaders, Field Personnel Officers, Area Leaders, and the International Personnel Team is an essential part of the role.
Occasional regional and international travel is required for meetings, conferences, training, and field visits.
Applicants should demonstrate strong cross-cultural communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships across diverse cultural contexts.
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) is expected. Experience with HR information systems and OM platforms such as D365, Caleb, OpenPetra, or a willingness to learn them, is highly desirable.
This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, discretion when handling confidential information, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
The successful candidate must be a committed Christian who fully supports OM's Statement of Faith and is passionate about serving and caring for people within the organization.
