About the role
Workplace & Facilities Coordinator Manhattan | $75,000–$100,000 Depending on Experience | Full-Time We’re looking for a proactive Workplace & Facilities Coordinator to join a busy, professional office environment in Manhattan. This is a hands-on position combining workplace and facilities coordination with front-of-house responsibility. Based at reception and at the heart of the office, you’ll play an important role in ensuring employees and visitors have a consistently positive experience while making sure the wider workplace runs smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll take ownership of day-to-day facilities requirements, coordinate suppliers and contractors, stay on top of maintenance and workplace standards, and be someone who naturally notices when something needs attention and follows it through.
The Role:
Provide a professional and welcoming front-of-house experience for employees and visitors Ensure the office is consistently well presented, organised and running smoothly Coordinate day-to-day facilities requirements, maintenance and repairs Liaise with building management, suppliers and external contractors Arrange and oversee contractor visits, ensuring actions are followed through to completion Monitor supplier performance and address issues where agreed standards aren’t being met Support workplace health and safety requirements, checks and documentation Carry out regular workplace checks, proactively identifying maintenance or facilities issues Manage office supplies, consumables and stock levels Support meeting rooms and wider day-to-day office requirements Maintain accurate facilities and workplace records Support wider workplace projects and changing office requirements
About You:
You may already be working as a Facilities Coordinator, Workplace Coordinator, Office Coordinator or within a front-of-house role where you have taken on broader responsibility for the workplace. You’ll be organised, practical and naturally attentive to detail. You’re comfortable taking ownership, dealing directly with suppliers and contractors, and following things through rather than waiting to be asked.
