About the role
Refinery Firewatch/Holewatch - La Porte, TXStronghold Companies is seeking Firewatch/Holewatch professionals for project-based work in a refinery environment in La Porte, Texas. These individuals will play a critical role in ensuring safety during hot work operations by monitoring for fire hazards and maintaining communication with the team. The ideal candidates are vigilant, safety-focused, and able to work in physically demanding conditions, including confined spaces and at heights.

What You’ll Need:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to pass all required drug/alcohol testing and background requirements
Physical ability to bend, stoop, walk, climb, squat, reach, kneel, push/pull, and lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
Ability to work in varying temperatures and noisy environments
Ability to be fit tested for respirators and pass a pulmonary function test (PFT)
Strong communication skills and ability to follow safety procedures
