Description: Kforce has a client that is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator in Florence, SC.
Responsibilities:
- Support business unit category strategies and year-over-year cost savings initiatives, including negotiation and design-change opportunities, while ensuring timely execution against established schedules* Collaborate with regional or global supply chain on NAA category strategy for synergies within sub-system and across commodities* Collaborate with Business Partner Commodity Managers (BPCM), and help with regular workloads of Gate Reviews, Material Disposition List Analysis (identifying opportunities for improvement, aligning suppliers for souring plans* Will be responsible for updating all applications including but not limited to ETQ, Teams Logs, GeN3 Core, Sch A/B RFQ, on daily basis* Support RFQ's (RFI/RFP as needed), total landed cost analysis, support business case, and ROI* Coordinate and support PPAP activities for Florence operations, including PPAP requests, requisition and purchase order processing, sample delivery confirmation, supplier follow-up, and coordination with Supplier Quality Engineering for PSW issuance* Support new product introductions, operational improvements (Lean), engineering changes, and work transition activities* Support the maintenance and accuracy of MRP part and supplier data, working cross-functionally with Commodity Management, Buyers, Materials Engineering, and other relevant stakeholders* Facilitate/participate in cross functional team/IPD meetings* Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting activities and prepare or assist with report-outsRequirements* Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business Administrations/Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Engineering* 3-5 years in a Supply Chain management function, procurement, or cost management* Experience with Excel and/or other data manipulation programs* Knowledge of, or experience with, lean manufacturing systems/processes and ERP/JDE configurations, Concept Configurations, Elog, and drawing database (Windchill)* Strategic planning/thinking skills coupled with analytical and execution skills* Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate all levels of management required* Demonstrated ability to drive teamwork between groups and across functional teams* Demonstrated project management, change management, and negotiating capabilities is a plusJob TypeContractCompensation33 - $37
