About the Role:
This position offers excellent advancement potential. The role is open due to an internal promotion into a Business Unit Manager position, demonstrating a clear path for continued growth within the organization. This is a hands-on leadership role managing 2–3 Customer Service Representatives while working closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Sales. The ideal candidate has a strong customer service or customer operations background within a manufacturing environment, is highly organized, comfortable working with data, and strong in Excel. Prior supervisory experience is preferred but not required for a strong candidate who is ready to take the next step into leadership.
Requirements:
3–5+ years of customer service, customer operations, order management, sales support, or similar experience Experience working for a manufacturing company is required Strong Microsoft Excel skills Experience managing customer orders, delivery expectations, and issue resolution Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Sales Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience Previous supervisory or team-lead experience preferred, but not required Aerospace experience is NOT required
What You Will Do:
Lead and support a team of 2–3 Customer Service Representatives Oversee customer orders from entry through delivery and ensure commitments are communicated accurately Serve as an escalation point for customer service, delivery, pricing, and order-related issues Work closely with Operations and Supply Chain to align customer requirements with manufacturing capacity Support quotations, pricing, order entry, warranty/service claims, and customer onboarding Build strong relationships with key customers and proactively resolve issues Coach and develop team members while improving overall customer service performance
