Responsibilities:
Oversee the assembly of sheet metal components according to engineering specifications and quality standards. Coordinate production schedules, allocate resources, and optimize workflow to meet production targets and deadlines. Train, mentor, and motivate assembly technicians to enhance their skills and performance. Conduct regular quality inspections to identify defects or deviations and implement corrective actions as needed. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to troubleshoot issues, refine processes, and improve product design for manufacturability. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness among all team members. Maintain inventory levels, track material usage, and assist in procurement activities as required.
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or other related fields AND/OR 5+ years of overall manufacturing experience 3+ Years of manufacturing management/supervisory experience 5+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical knowledge of sheet metal forming techniques, equipment, and tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team. Hands-on experience with fabrication equipment such as shears, brakes, punches, and welding machines. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
