The Impact You'll Make
As a Senior Value Stream Manager, you'll lead an integrated manufacturing value stream that generates approximately $300M-$400M in annual revenue, operating with the mindset and accountability of a business leader. You'll have end-to-end ownership for performance across Production, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering, shaping the decisions that drive customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and long-term growth. You'll translate business strategy into execution by aligning people, processes, capacity, quality, and investment priorities across the value stream. Your leadership will directly influence safety, delivery performance, product quality, productivity, profitability, and organizational capability. Success in this role means building a high-performing team and culture that consistently delivers Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People, and Growth objectives while creating a resilient, continuously improving operation capable of meeting current and future customer demands.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead an integrated Production, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering organization, creating alignment, accountability, and execution across the entire value stream to achieve business and customer commitments. Own value stream performance, strategy, and operating plans for a $300M-$400M business, translating priorities into measurable outcomes across safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and growth. Drive operational excellence through Lean manufacturing principles, standardized management systems, visual performance management, structured problem solving, and a strong Zero Defect culture. Advance manufacturing capability by prioritizing process improvement, capacity expansion, equipment reliability, automation, industrialization initiatives, and technology deployment that strengthen long-term competitiveness. Develop and coach a cross-functional leadership team, building organizational capability through succession planning, talent development, skills growth, and a culture of ownership and continuous improvement. Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, Product Management, Sales, R&D, EHS, Human Resources, Maintenance, and other key stakeholders to deliver integrated business results and ensure organizational alignment. Lead operational readiness for new product launches, product transfers, volume changes, and strategic investments, ensuring successful implementation while minimizing risk and disruption. Govern quality and compliance systems, including IATF 16949 and ISO-based processes, while strengthening prevention, process capability, corrective actions, and customer confidence.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience; advanced degree preferred. Typically 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in complex manufacturing environments with accountability for operational performance and organizational development. Demonstrated success leading Production and multiple manufacturing functions such as Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, or Operational Excellence. Proven experience managing large-scale manufacturing operations, value streams, business units, or product lines with significant revenue responsibility, customer impact, and teams of 100+ employees. Strong business, financial, and operational acumen, including operating plans, capital investment, productivity improvement, cost management, Lean manufacturing, quality systems, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience as a Plant Manager, Operations Director, Business Unit Leader, or senior value stream leader with full operational ownership. Experience leading manufacturing operations exceeding $100M in annual revenue or comparable scale and complexity. Proven leadership of major industrialization, automation, capacity expansion, operational transformation, or product transfer initiatives. Background in automotive, high-precision engineered products, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments. Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
