Job Description: HVAC/R SERVICE TECHNICIANEdge Air Conditioning & Refrigeration | Rincon, GAEdge Air Conditioning & Refrigeration is looking for an experienced HVAC/R Service Technician to join our growing team. We are looking for a dependable technician who can independently diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial HVAC/R equipment while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities include:
  • HVAC/R troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance
  • Electrical and controls diagnostics
  • Refrigerant recovery, evacuation, and charging
  • Compressor, motor, capacitor, contactor, TXV, coil, and control replacement
  • Commercial HVAC and refrigeration service
  • Walk-in cooler/freezer and ice machine service
  • Accurate service-call documentation
  • Customer communication and recommendations
  • Maintaining company vehicle, tools, and inventory
  • Participating in the on-call rotation
Qualifications:
  • HVAC/R service experienceEPA 608 certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Commercial HVAC/R experience preferred
  • Refrigeration experience preferred
  • Professional appearance and communication
  • Dependable and able to work independently
