Job Title: Recruitment Operational and Technical Strategist (Remote)
Location: Raleigh, NC
Duration: 06 Months with possible extension
Job Description: The client is seeking a candidate to provide technical and operational support across several critical Human Resources functions, including Talent Acquisition, Workday compliance, recruitment process optimization, reporting, and HR systems management. This role will help strengthen communication between senior leadership and HR functional teams, support client Centralization initiatives, ensure accurate and compliant use of systems such as Workday, Smartsheet, SharePoint, and MS Teams, and enhance internal processes that drive efficient hiring, onboarding, and talent management. The contractor will serve as a subject matter expert and operational partner to improve SOPs, manage recruitment workflows, and guide system cleanup and reporting improvements to support organizational goals. Skill set Experience developing, updating, and managing HR Standard Operating Procedures across Talent Acquisition, Class & Compensation, Salary Administration, and related HR functions. Strong expertise with Workday Human Capital Management, including requisition management, I‑9 compliance, reporting, and system cleanup. Proficiency with Smartsheet (Intake Forms, Workspaces) and SharePointAbility to support Talent Acquisition teams, including workload management, recruitment activities, team alignment, and SLA tracking. Experience acting as a point of contact with state HR systems or regulatory entities to ensure accuracy and compliance. Strong reporting skills across Workday, Smartsheet, and integrated HR/payroll systems, with the ability to identify custom reports needs and advise leaders on data usage. Capability to architect or redesign HR internal communication systems, including SharePoint sites and process documentation for centralized HR models. Project management experience, including milestone planning, stakeholder alignment, executive engagement, and RAID tracking. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with senior leadership, HR directors, SMEs, and cross‑functional teams.
