Job Description: In this role, you will develop, improve, and sustain all manufacturing process flows, as well as lead the development of new process modules. You will take ownership of complex projects, guiding them from initiation through completion, and will lead and collaborate on technology transfers and the development of new technologies. You will coordinate the introduction, qualification, and ramp-to-volume of new process flows for foundry customers, working closely with Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Operations, and R&D teams on inter-departmental and cross-functional initiatives. You will also serve as a key point of contact for customers at both the engineering and executive levels, addressing technical issues and presenting project summaries and updates. Additionally, you will oversee and develop the SiPho Integration Engineering team, particularly with regard to analyzing E-test and yield data to drive continuous improvement across the manufacturing process. You will mentor the team to develop expertise in SiPho Integration, device analysis, and both internal and external presentation skills. This Job Is For You IfYou can lead or coordinate projects to minimize defects, improve process control, reduce rework, study process windows for new devices, qualify new tools, evaluate new consumables, and develop new processes for better performance and lower cost. You can analyze E-test and yield data, and disposition problem wafers and lots, while writing E-test procedures, specifications, documentation, and test programs. You can utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques, and participate in teams to solve wafer fabrication problems. You can write process capability reports for process engineering and customer review. You can lead or participate in intra- or inter-departmental efforts to manage process crises, including containing damage, investigating and identifying root causes, and implementing corrective and preventive actions. You can participate in inter-departmental projects focused on technology development and yield enhancement. You can help drive continuous improvement projects to improve D0's, reduce scrap, and enhance device performance.
Job Requirements
Must Have: M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or Materials Science. Candidates with process and/or device experience in 180nm and/or Silicon Photonics technologies are strongly preferred. Strong ability to communicate and present technical concepts and analyses clearly and effectively. Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience in one or more of the following semiconductor process areas: Process Integration, Device Physics, Thin Films, Etch, CMP, Photolithography, Diffusion, Implant, or E-Test.
Nice to Have: Experience with SPC and DOE is required, 8D, FMEA, and structured problem solving is preferred.#IND100
