Job Description: Material Handler/Crane Operator Delta, Ohio 1st -7a-3p 2nd – 3p-11p 3rd – 11p-3a$20.51/hr - Paid Weekly Plus Shift premiums: 2nd shift 1.50, 3rd shift 1.00.**Training on 1st shift We are seeking experienced Material Handlers / Overhead Crane Operators to work in a steel processing and manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities: Safely operate a remote overhead crane, forklift, and other material-handling equipment Load and unload trucks Move and store finished steel products throughout the warehouse Receive incoming materials and enter information into the computer system Stage loads and prepare materials for shipment Band materials and generate identification tags Inspect steel coils for correct gauge, width, and visible damage Maintain accurate inventory and production records Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
Requirements: Previous remote overhead crane experience required Previous forklift experience required Ability to read micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools Basic computer skills Strong attention to detail and safety Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and organizational skills Ability to stand, bend, twist and stoop throughout the shift Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs. Previous steel processing or manufacturing experience is a plus.
