About the role

Focused Energy seeks a Senior Systems Safety Engineer for its Austin facility to partner with engineering and operations on risk assessment throughout design, installation, validation, commissioning and operation. You will lead hazard analyses (HAZID, FMEA, JHA) for laser, electrical, cryogenic, and mechanical systems, translating findings into practical interlocks, procedures, and safety controls.
