Job DescriptionPosition SummaryThe Senior Project Manager – Network Infrastructure Delivery is responsible for leading the successful delivery of complex network infrastructure projects from initiation through completion. This role oversees initiatives such as network refreshes, Wi-Fi refreshes, structured cabling, telecom and circuit deployments, and related site infrastructure upgrades across single-site and multi-site environments.The Senior Project Manager is accountable for delivering projects on time, within budget, within scope, and in alignment with established quality standards and governance requirements. This role partners closely with engineering, operations, vendors, facilities, and customer stakeholders to coordinate all phases of delivery, including planning, procurement, implementation, testing, cutover, and transition to operational support.This position requires strong leadership, execution discipline, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives in dynamic, deadline-driven environments.Essential FunctionsLead the end-to-end delivery of complex network infrastructure projects, including network refreshes, wireless refreshes, structured cabling, and site technology deployments.Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation and planning through procurement, implementation, testing, cutover, and transition to support.Define and document project scope, objectives, assumptions, milestones, success criteria, dependencies, and resource requirements in collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, forecasts, RAID logs, status reports, and supporting project documentation.Coordinate cross-functional teams including network engineering, implementation teams, field services, facilities, security, telecom carriers, third-party vendors, and customer stakeholders.Manage site readiness activities, access requirements, hardware delivery schedules, installation sequencing, maintenance windows, and deployment dependencies.Facilitate project meetings, stakeholder reviews, implementation readiness checkpoints, and executive status updates.Identify, assess, track, and mitigate project risks and issues; escalate as appropriate to protect delivery timelines and outcomes.Monitor project performance against scope, timeline, budget, and quality expectations, and take corrective action as needed.Oversee vendor and partner performance to ensure accountability for deliverables, timelines, installation quality, and issue resolution.Support change management and cutover planning activities to minimize business disruption and ensure successful production deployment.Ensure completion of required project deliverables, including implementation plans, testing results, acceptance criteria, as-built documentation, and transition materials for operational support teams.Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, vendors, and external partners.Lead post-implementation reviews, capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery processes and standards.Mentor junior project managers and contribute to a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing project delivery environment.Perform other duties as assigned.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis role does not typically have direct people management responsibility.May provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to junior project managers or project coordinators.May lead cross-functional teams and coordinate the work of internal resources, contractors, and vendors assigned to project delivery.Required Education and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered.Minimum of 7 years of progressive project management experience, including significant experience delivering network infrastructure projects.Proven experience managing projects such as network refreshes, Wi-Fi refreshes, structured cabling, telecom or circuit deployments, and site infrastructure upgrades.Demonstrated experience managing full lifecycle infrastructure delivery, including planning, procurement, implementation, cutover, testing, and transition to support.Strong knowledge of core project management disciplines, including scope, schedule, budget, resource, risk, issue, dependency, and stakeholder management.Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across technical, operational, vendor, and customer-facing functions.Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.Proficiency with project management and reporting tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps, Visio, or similar platforms.Preferred Education, Certifications, and ExperiencePMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred.Experience managing multi-site or enterprise-scale infrastructure deployment programs.Working knowledge of network infrastructure environments, including LAN/WAN, wireless, switching, routing, firewalls, and structured cabling.Experience working with network equipment vendors, cabling providers, telecom carriers, and implementation partners.Familiarity with ITIL-based service transition and change management practices.Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and drive delivery outcomes in complex environments.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong project leadership and execution skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage complex project interdependencies and infrastructure deployment constraints.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across matrixed teams.Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to quality and operational excellence.Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leaders, customers, and external partners.Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration across teams.Travel RequirementsUp to 10% travel may be required based on business and project needs.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
