General Labor (Sheeter Operator Assistant) We are actively hiring for the position of General Labor (Sheeter Operator Assistant) for our plant in Arlington, TX.
Shift: 1st shift 5:00 AM 1:30 PM Monday-Friday
Pay: $14.00
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assisting the Sheeter Operator in inspecting the machine and checking items produced for proper quality specifications.
  • Staging rolls and completed pallets.
  • Helping ensure efficiencies, running speeds, and down time are within specified limits. Assisting in troubleshooting to enhance production.
  • Driving of a clamp truck and forklift to load rolls and put up paper once sheeted. Learning all paper grades run on this machine.
  • Assist in charting all daily production and any problems that may occur.
  • Organizing process area to perform basic maintenance as required.
  • Placing the recycled scrap in bins.
  • Must be proactive with completing other duties as assigned Qualification:
  • Must be teamwork oriented.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Must be able to operate in a safe and productive manner.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few variables in standardized situations.
  • Able to stand a minimum of 8 hours and work occasional overtime as requested.
  • Ability to receive forklift certification.
