Parking Attendant/Garage AttendantThe Parking Attendant/Garage Attendant enhances guest satisfaction by transporting hotel guests' vehicles to and from designated parking locations in a professional, timely, courteous, and safe manner.
Essential Functions: Respond to guest inquiries courteously; provide information regarding hotel services, local events, points of interest, and activities. Walk garage parking/property for added security. Maintain general cleanliness of parking/property. Guard Entrance to parking garage. Prepare and submit required reports to management. Other duties as assigned by management. Job Specifications Sound working familiarity with safety and security procedures and guidelines and ability to safely operate vehicles. Excellent driving record. Working knowledge of alternative local travel routes, hotel services, and local area events and activities. Ability to read and understand written instructions to carry through driver responsibilities. Good command of the English language; second language proficiency desirable. Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work. Ability to maintain customer focus. Excellent organizational and planning skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to follow corporate and brand standards and procedures.
Experience and Education: Minimum training required per year as assigned by the company. Any additional training required by manager Work Environment: This job operates in a hotel environment. This role routinely drives guest vehicles. Work days and work hours may vary. This position works both indoors and outdoors.
