About the role

The Data Entry Assistant is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining information in company databases and systems. This position supports daily administrative operations by ensuring records are complete, organized, and up to date.Key ResponsibilitiesEnter and update data accurately in databases, spreadsheets, and internal systems.Review information for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.Verify and correct data discrepancies when identified.Maintain organized electronic and physical records.Assist with document preparation, filing, and record management.Retrieve and compile information for reports and administrative requests.Perform routine data quality checks and updates.Maintain confidentiality of company and customer information.Assist administrative teams with general clerical tasks as needed.Meet established productivity, accuracy, and turnaround-time requirements.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Previous data entry or administrative experience is preferred.Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and similar office software.Strong typing and computer skills.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Good organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
