About the role
The Town of Indian River Shores is seeking a Director of Public Safety with 15+ years in emergency services or law enforcement and at least 5 years in senior administration, including personnel management, procurement and budgeting. Certification in law enforcement and/or paramedic/firefighter is preferred.
The Director reports to the Town Manager, remains onsite for storms and emergencies, and leads the Emergency Management Team. A generous benefits package and a vehicle are offered.
