About the role
As a Datacenter Technician, you play a key role in ensuring the operational readiness and reliability of our clients' datacenter environments. Working in mission-critical infrastructures, you are responsible for installing, maintaining, and supporting IT equipment while ensuring that all operations are carried out in accordance with customer procedures and service level agreements. Your Mission The Datacenter Technician (M/F) handles requests and incidents to ensure the operational readiness of the client's Datacenter environments.
Your Responsibilities:
Reporting to the US Regional Manager, your responsibilities include:
Installing and removing equipment within computer rooms and datacenter environments.
Performing rack and unrack operations on IT equipment.
Installing, removing, and managing copper (RJ45) and fiber optic cabling.
Labeling equipment and cabling according to established procedures.
Receiving and shipping equipment, and assisting with inventory and stock management.
Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on IT equipment.
Managing and resolving customer incidents and service requests.
Updating customer management tools, including ISTM, CMDB, inventories, and cabling documentation.
Escorting third-party technicians and vendors during interventions in customer facilities.
Monitoring datacenter conditions and performing routine checks to ensure equipment and infrastructure are functioning properly (status lights, hardware condition, etc.).All activities must be performed in compliance with customer procedures, agreed service levels, and operational priorities.
Your Profile:
Technical SkillsGood understanding of datacenter environments, including servers, networking, SAN storage, and structured cabling. Ability to coordinate and manage requests from multiple stakeholders.3 to 5 years of experience in a similar datacenter or IT infrastructure support role.

Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Good reporting and communication skills.
Able to work independently while maintaining a collaborative team spirit.
