$17.00 / hr to startPOSITION SUMMARYCPAY Staffing & Recruiting is seeking a dependable, hands-on Production Painter for a full-time opportunity with an established manufacturing company. This is an entry-level production position involving the painting and finishing of faux stone products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable performing physical work, lifting and handling panels weighing approximately 35 pounds, standing for extended periods, and learning specialized painting and finishing techniques. Previous professional painting experience is helpful but not required. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and priming materials. Learn and apply faux stone painting and finishing techniques. Mix paints and materials to achieve required colors, textures, and finishes. Use brushes, sponges, rollers, and other tools to apply base coats and create realistic stone finishes. Lift, move, position, and work with production panels weighing approximately 35 pounds. Perform general production and material handling duties as needed. Inspect finished work for quality, consistency, and attention to detail. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Properly store and maintain painting tools, equipment, and materials.
