Shift Hours: 2pm - 10pm Monday through Friday with occasional overtime
Salary: $19.00 an hour +$2.00 Shift Premium
About the Role: Join our team as an Assembly Technician, where you'll play a key role in the final assembly and packaging of products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with tools, following production schedules, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
What You'll Do: Assemble and package products according to work instructions and schedules. Operate hand tools and production equipment (e.g., presses, drills, robots, vacuum lifts).Use scanning equipment and maintain high-quality standards. Train new technicians in your cell. Participate in Kaizen events and layout planning. Share ideas to improve processes and efficiency. Promote and maintain a safe work environment. Train new employees on PPE and safety protocols. Report safety concerns to leadership.
What You Bring
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred. Skills & Traits: Team-oriented with strong communication skills. Dependable, positive attitude, and willingness to learn. Ability to follow safety procedures and work under tight deadlines. Basic computer skills. Physical &
Work Environment: Ability to walk, stand, lift (up to 50 lbs), bend, and reach throughout the shift. Work performed in a manufacturing facility that is not fully climate controlled. Overtime may be required to meet customer demands.
