BCforward is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dev Ops Engineer / Cloud Support Engineer
Note: Candidate must be local to AZ.Job Title: Dev Ops Engineer / Cloud Support Engineer
Job Location: Phoenix, AZ - Hybrid Role
Duration: Long-term
Pay Rate: $60/hr W2 and up to $68 CTC
Must Have: Strong Cloud support experience- Suppoting public cloud an leading calls to completions Strong AWS background- This will take the most time of their day now. EKS Networking, EKS Clusters, Kubernetes Exposure to other environments like AZURE, and GCPUndertands databases Must be able to work Saturday or Sunday shift 1 month out of 3 months. They will be flexible with the additional day off.
Nice to Have: AI Automation experience Oracle cloud support
Job Description: Hands-on experience with AWS/GCP services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, ECS or EKS, RDS or DynamoDB, API Gateway, Event Bridge, and Cloud Watch, Big Table, Big Query, Vertex AI, Gemini Assist Experience supporting production environments, incident management, change management, and root-cause analysis. Strong knowledge of IAM roles and policies, least-privilege access, security groups, and network controls. Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Cloud Watch, Splunk, Dynatrace, or comparable platforms. Working knowledge of Terraform or Cloud Formation and scripting with Python, Bash, or AWS CLI.Understanding of hybrid networking, including VPC routing, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, DNS, and network troubleshooting. Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to varied audiences.
