Job Overview A law firm seeks an entry-level associate to join the Corporate Department in Miami. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in corporate law, specifically in mergers and acquisitions and capital markets.
Duties Support attorneys in all phases of client engagements.
Conduct legal research and due diligence.
Draft and review transaction documents.
Participate in client communications.
Requirements Strong interpersonal skills and maturity.
Proven ability to manage a challenging workload in a fast-paced environment.
Strong academic history.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly detail-oriented.
Fluency in Spanish preferred but not required.
Eligibility Eligibility for admission to the Florida Bar.
Education Juris Doctor degree.
Certifications Admission to the Florida Bar (or eligibility).
Skills Strong research and analytical skills.
Effective communication and drafting abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
