Custom Content Writer & Moderator Hybrid Position- Chicago, ILSalary Range $75,000-$95,000 Becker’s Healthcare is a multimedia digital and events platform built for healthcare’s decision-makers. We pair trusted journalism with data-driven intelligence and AI, curated newsletters and premier live events to inform, engage and elevate the C-suite executives, physician leaders and industry influencers shaping the future of care delivery. The Custom Content Writer & Moderator is part of Becker's Healthcare's Custom Studios team, which develops custom and campaign content for Becker's clients across healthcare technology, finance, clinical operations, health insurance, pharmaceuticals and life sciences. The role combines in-depth marketing writing, project management for campaign initiatives, and moderation of conversations with healthcare executives on Becker's podcasts, webinars, advisory calls and live conferences. Primary areas of responsibility include: Writing & editing Write in-depth custom content for clients, including whitepapers, e-books, executive briefs and Q&As, translating complex healthcare topics and executive insights into clear, compelling narratives. Interview client experts and healthcare leaders to gather material for custom content. Edit custom articles drafted by contracted writers, ensuring quality, accuracy and alignment with client goals. Produce and edit recap articles from Becker's live events. Asset promotion and lead generation support Write daily text ads for Becker's e-newsletters, promoting clients' digital assets. Assist with lead generation improvement plans and administrative support. Moderating Moderate interviews and discussions with healthcare executives at virtual, live and pre-recorded sponsored events, including podcasts, panels, webinars and advisory calls. Moderate live panel discussions with healthcare executives onsite at Becker's conferences. Project management Manage larger, multi-part content projects from kickoff through delivery, including timelines, client feedback rounds and coordination with Editorial, Design, Events and Client Services teams. Process, assign and track custom content requests, including content creation, feedback and moderator support for sponsored events. Qualifications/experience: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism or a related field. Experience writing long-form content, such as whitepapers, e-books or reports, ideally in B2B, content marketing or sponsored content. Experience editing articles for digital publication. Project management experience, including managing multi-stakeholder projects with competing deadlines. Familiarity with the healthcare industry preferred. Public speaking or moderating experience. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with executive leaders, both internally and externally. Works effectively across teams and thrives in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment. Must be able to travel to Becker's conferences, including onsite moderating at live events.
