Role Description:
The Human Resources Generalist is a full-time, on-site role based in Memphis, TN. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations, including administering HR policies, managing employee records, and maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The HR Generalist will coordinate employee benefits, assist with benefits enrollment and changes, and respond to employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefits. Daily tasks include supporting recruitment and onboarding, helping managers with employee relations matters, and participating in performance management and training initiatives. The role also involves preparing HR reports, maintaining HR systems, and collaborating with leadership to enhance HR processes and employee experience.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess skills in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management to support core HR operations and workforce initiatives. Candidates should possess skills in HR Policies to help develop, implement, and communicate guidelines that ensure consistency and compliance. Candidates should possess skills in Employee Benefits and Benefits Administration to manage programs, enrollment, and employee support. Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, with the ability to apply them in day-to-day HR practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization. Experience using HRIS or other HR-related software, along with solid organizational and time-management abilities. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Prior experience in an HR Generalist or similar HR role is preferred.
