Full-TimeWe are seeking an experienced Audio/Visual Specialist to support video production, multimedia development, e-learning, and audiovisual technology requirements in a professional DoD environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in video production, editing, broadcast/media production, motion graphics, and e-learning content development, along with proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud tools. Experience working in a military or Department of Defense environment is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, produce, edit, and deliver professional video and multimedia content from concept through final production.
Support professional video and broadcast production activities, including filming, editing, post-production, graphics, audio, and visual effects.
Develop e-learning videos, instructional materials, and multimedia training content for distribution through Learning Management Systems (LMS).Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to develop scripts, storyboards, instructional content, and production plans.
Create motion graphics, animations, presentations, and other visual communication materials.
Apply sound film theory, visual storytelling, instructional design principles, and professional production standards to multimedia projects.
Use Adobe Creative Cloud applications to create, edit, enhance, and deliver high-quality video and multimedia products.
Manage multiple projects independently while coordinating effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Troubleshoot production and technical issues and identify solutions quickly and independently.
Ensure multimedia products meet applicable quality, communication, branding, and organizational standards.
Support projects in a professional military/DoD environment while maintaining appropriate handling of sensitive and proprietary information.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electronic Media, Video Broadcast, Digital Media, or a related field, or at least 5 years of Audio-Visual Technology experience.
Professional experience in video production, video editing, broadcast production, or a related multimedia environment.
Experience developing e-learning or instructional video content for Learning Management Systems (LMS).Proficiency with:
- Adobe Premiere ProAdobe Audition
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Captivate
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of film theory and visual storytelling.
- Strong organizational, communication, troubleshooting, and project-management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with TriCaster or similar broadcast production systems.
Experience working in a Department of Defense or military environment.
Familiarity with DoD branding and communication policies.
Familiarity with The Tongue and Quill.
Understanding of military rank structure, policies, and procedures.
Experience developing educational or instructional multimedia content.
Broadcast production experience.
