Overview:
Montgomery County Circuit Court seeks Judicial Law Clerk candidates for the FY27 term (Sept. 1, 2026 – Aug. 31, 2027). The Judicial Law Clerk is customarily a 1-year term.
Responsibilities:
Conducting legal research and assisting in drafting opinions.
Attending court proceedings.
Assisting in preparation for upcoming court cases.
Perform related tasks as required.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate degree (LAW DEGREE) with demonstrable knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, agency rules, and democratic political processes required.
Compensation and Benefits:
Starting salary $65,195; plus excellent benefits; including health, dental and vision, life, disability, retirement, flexible spending plan, wellness programs, and more.
