Job Summary: Seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused Site Moderator / Data Collection Specialist to support onsite participant studies and technology-assisted data collection. The candidate will guide participants, operate data collection equipment, maintain accurate records, and follow established privacy and study procedures.
Key Responsibilities: Welcome participants, complete check-in, and verify required documentation. Explain study procedures and guide participants through structured sessions. Follow study protocols, checklists, and SOPs to ensure consistent execution. Monitor sessions, document outcomes, and ensure data/files/records are accurate and complete. Set up and operate mobile devices, cameras, sensors, tablets, and related equipment. Perform basic technical troubleshooting and escalate issues when required. Assist with site setup, equipment inventory, scheduling, and participant flow. Handle participant information with appropriate confidentiality and privacy.
Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.1+ year experience in customer service, research support, field operations, healthcare, events, data collection, laboratory support, or administration. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic technical aptitude and ability to learn new tools/equipment quickly. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow processes. Ability to work onsite in San Diego with schedule flexibility.
