Business Development Manager - Nutraceuticals Are you passionate about innovation in the health and nutrition space? Join a global leader in ingredients, helping customers develop innovative solutions across the nutraceutical market.
The Role: This is a remote position, focused on driving new business growth across the U.S. nutraceutical market.
Key Responsibilities: Identify, develop and grow target accounts, building a strong sales pipeline and achieving revenue targets. Build long-term relationships with decision-makers across R&D, NPD, Marketing, Procurement and Sales. Sell a broad portfolio of specialty health ingredients, probiotics and turnkey finished formats. Lead complex sales cycles, from opportunity development through contract negotiation and launch. Partner with Technical, R&D, Marketing, Regulatory, Supply Chain and Customer Service teams to deliver customer solutions. Monitor market trends, competitive activity and customer needs to identify new opportunities and support innovation. Represent the business at customer meetings, industry events and relevant trade shows.
What We're Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field; microbiology or nutrition is a plus.5+ years of successful new business development experience within nutraceuticals, ideally across probiotics, specialty health ingredients and finished formats. Strong U.S. customer network within the nutraceutical/supplement industry. Proven track record of building high-value pipelines and consistently delivering against sales targets. Experience with consultative/conceptual selling and complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles. Strong technical, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate scientific information into commercial value. Self-motivated, commercially driven and customer-focused, with a strong ability to build long-term partnerships.
