About the role
Delivery Driver HelperThe Delivery Driver Helper assists our Sherwin-Williams Delivery Service ("SWDS") drivers in making deliveries to Sherwin Williams's customers and stores located in a metropolitan area. This involves riding along with the driver in a truck/van to each delivery destination, helping to unload products at site locations, maintaining awareness of safety and security, and other duties as assigned. This position's typical work hours will be 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The typical workweek schedule and hours may vary depending on business volume and customer demands.
This position is a temporary 90-day assignment.
Job duties involve contact with customers, which may include minors; and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise and other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the general public.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
