The Role
The International Accounting & Finance Manager serves as the financial anchor at HQ for current and future international subsidiaries. This role oversees international controllership, multi-currency consolidations, FX impacts, and financial reporting while supporting budgeting, forecasting, and operational metrics.
This is not a traditional transactional accounting role. The focus is on reviewing and interpreting financial results, ensuring financial integrity, and partnering with international General Managers (GMs) to help them understand and grow their businesses.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting expertise with the forward-looking mindset of a financial analyst and trusted business partner.

Key Performance Objective
Become the trusted financial partner to international GMs and the corporate SME for international accounting and finance.
Success means bridging the gap between corporate Finance and international markets - providing accurate financial information, meaningful business insights, and practical guidance that enables effective decision-making and organizational growth.
Performance Accountabilities
International Business Partnership
Build trusted relationships with international GMs and understand the financial drivers of each market.
Translate financial results into actionable business insights.
Advise leaders on financial risks, opportunities, budgets, forecasts, and business decisions.
International Controllership & Reporting
Review international financial statements and prepare internal reporting.
Manage multi-entity and multi-currency consolidations, FX translations and revaluations, and intercompany activity.
Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and compliance with US GAAP and corporate accounting policies.
Planning & Performance Analysis
Partner with GMs and FP&A on budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
Analyze market performance, including margins, unit economics, retention, and promotional ROI.
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities and recommend actions to improve performance.
International Expansion
Support financial modeling, capital planning, localized pricing, and ERP setup for new markets.
Partner cross-functionally on statutory, tax, supply chain, inventory, landed-cost, and operational requirements.
Help establish scalable financial processes for current and future international subsidiaries.
Financial Leadership & Process Improvement
Serve as the corporate SME for international accounting and finance matters.
Partner with market accounting firms, auditors, Tax, Operations, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders.
Identify opportunities to strengthen controls, reporting, processes, and ERP capabilities.
Performance Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience with significant multi-entity consolidation and foreign currency accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, consolidations, FX, and intercompany accounting.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and experience with mid-to-large-tier cloud ERP platforms.
Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to international and non-finance stakeholders.
Self-starter who can operate with high autonomy in a fast-paced environment.
Strong cross-functional and international business partnership skills.
Ability to travel internationally as needed.
Spanish proficiency and CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
