Job Description: Join Our Dynamic Distribution Warehouse Team! Are you a highly organized and detail-oriented individual looking to make a significant impact in a thriving distribution warehouse? We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities: Serve as first point of contact for delivery drivers. Receive and process paper and electronic payments received by carriers. Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments. Verify and count products to confirm data accuracy in system. Accurately generates all paperwork relating to the shipment of product from the warehouse. Prepares all loading documents, pick tickets and door assignments. Coordinate with warehouse and transportation to make sure shipping/receiving documents are completed accurately and timely. Notify carriers and key team members of pending, no shows and/or unscheduled arrivals. Maintain inventory records and ensure proper storage of products could include manual verification of contained quantities. Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations. Engage with drivers and reschedule appointments if necessary. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in shipping and receiving or a related field. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
