About the role
- Electrical Work
- Replace 110V and 120V receptacles and switches
- Install and troubleshoot single-pole, three-way, and four-way switches
- Replace and install interior and exterior light fixtures
- Wire and replace electric water heaters
- Install and replace breakers ranging from 15 to 50 amps
- Diagnose and troubleshoot residential electrical issues
- Install and troubleshoot thermostat wiring
- Wire built-in appliances including ovens, cooktops, microwaves, dishwashers, and range hoods
- Add, relocate, and remove branch circuits
- Replace electrical devices, GFCIs, AFCIs, and breakers
- Perform panel labeling and minor panel repairs
- Ensure all work complies with NEC and local electrical codes
- Apartment Renovation Work
- Electrical work is only one part of apartment renovations. Team members are expected to assist with additional renovation tasks, including:
- Demolition and material removal
- Unit turns
- General punch-list items
- Property improvement projects
- Overtime will be required to meet renovation deadlines
- ScheduleMonday through Friday
- Typical hours: 7:30AM - 4:30PM30-minute unpaid lunch
- Occasional mandatory Saturdays based on project schedules
- Overtime may be required to meet renovation deadlines
- Minimum 3 years of electrical experience
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams
- Knowledge of current NEC standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Climb ladders up to 20 feet
- Work in occupied and vacant apartments
- Work in crawl spaces, attics, and utility rooms when necessary
- Safely operate power tools and electrical testing equipment
- Experience in apartment renovations or property maintenance
- Experience working on occupied multifamily properties
