The successful candidate will be responsible for owning and leading the entire data function, including data engineering, analytics, and data science. This role is pivotal in a virtual care setting, where data is a key driver of member outcomes, clinical decision-making, and operational efficiency. The VP of Data will not only set the vision and strategy for the data organization but also be deeply involved in the day-to-day, highly collaborative, and fast-moving environment. They will work closely with the executive team, product and engineering leadership, clinical teams, and various other departments to ensure that data is at the core of the company's decision-making processes. Candidates for this role should have a proven track record of leading data organizations at scale, with a focus on strategic thinking, team building, and the ability to operate with a high level of autonomy. The ideal candidate will be adept at making data-driven decisions, have a deep understanding of modern AI-assisted tooling, and be able to navigate the challenges of PHI, HIPAA, and the privacy and security implications of working with sensitive health data. The opportunity is particularly interesting for those who are passionate about making a real impact on chronic disease management and patient outcomes, and who are excited about the prospect of shaping the future of healthcare through data and technology.Hiring Manager TitleCEOFunctionsData Management/Analytics
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
