Heavy Equipment OperatorSun Recycling's Materials Collection Facility is a facility specialized in receiving, separating, and preparing recyclable materials for sale to end-use factories. Established in October 2013, it is conveniently located in Beltsville, Maryland. Sun Recycling specializes in LEED projects. We operate as a zero-landfill facility and provide LEED credits to our customers. LEED is a highly recognized program designed for the construction, maintenance, and operations of green (eco-friendly) buildings. A detail-oriented team player. Seeking full-time employment in a predominately outdoors environment with opportunities for growth and development. Someone that will benefit from participating in a team-oriented environment, with the ability to work independently. Someone that prioritizes safety and time management. An individual who is coachable, and eager to learn. A Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for the following: Operate heavy equipment machinery in a strategic mannerPerform daily preventative maintenance on equipmentIdentify waste type for materials processingDirect on-site truck trafficMaintain consistent communication via two-way radios and hand signalsPerform all tasks in a safe and timely mannerProvide customer serviceUpkeep the general cleanliness of the facilityPreferred Experience: Waste IndustryVolvo EC240BLC High Top ExcavatorFront End Articulating Loader ExperienceKomatsu 270, 320, 380 John Deere 190 DW
