About the role
- Perform general maintenance and repairs including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances and building systems
- Complete service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Follow all OSHA and safety regulations
- Provide strong customer service when interacting with community members
- Work both independently and as part of a team
- Participate in on-call rotation for after‑hours emergencies
- Assist with preventative maintenance and additional tasks as needed
- Train for advancement to a Maintenance IV position
- 3+ year of maintenance experience (multifamily preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and repairsEPA & HVAC certification required
- Must have minor plumbing and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Must have appliance troubleshooting skills
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Comfortable responding to after‑hours service calls
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending and reaching
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments
