This position involves building and maintaining relationships with health plans, including sourcing and developing leads, driving sales, and managing post-sale relationships. The role is highly visible and offers the opportunity to work closely with the broader commercial team, providing valuable market feedback and contributing to product and commercial strategy sessions. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, 6-10 years of work experience, a solid understanding of US health insurers and the healthcare ecosystem, and a meaningful network of health plan contacts. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Health Plan Sales include independently managing the sales process from initial conversation to close, collaborating with legal on contract negotiations, and ensuring accurate forecasting and pipeline growth. The role requires an individual with a proven track record in enterprise sales, particularly in closing large, complex deals with a long sales cycle, and a history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas. The candidate should possess excellent project management, organization, and communication skills, and be comfortable in a fast-paced, startup environment.
